The (dreaded) introductory blog.

Posted on May 17, 2011

Ah the introductory blog. This is the document where ideas about ideas are introduced to the world. This is where a person’s determination and motivation are put to the test. I have never been one for motivation or hard work, and it’s going to be quite fun seeing if I can keep this up. I think I will. I guess time will tell.

But I can’t help thinking that a blog is such a selfish thing in some regards. Why should you read what I have to say? What makes me so special? Well… Nothing, so please don’t ask any of those questions. This is going to be a personal opinion based blog about a number of different subjects. Hopefully you will find it somewhat entertaining and thoughtful. However, if I’m extremely honest with you, this blog will be mostly about Wrestling. Yeah, that’s right. I said it. Wrestling. My name is Jason and I am a wrestling nerd, and I’ll admit that right now on the internet.

If you are reading this thinking “Jesus, I haven’t watched wrestling since Stone Cold and The Rock were around, back when everyone loved it”, then I strongly suggest you go and watch what they have to offer now. It’s a whole other world. It’s a completely different beast. It’s like going into a house you used to live in, but now a new family lives there. Everything is different, but some things are still exactly the same. Give it a chance. To be honest, you probably won’t like it. But it’s better than watching Glee (Yeah I said it).

If you are reading this thinking “I am a casual viewer of wrestling, it’s okay and I watch it from time to time”, then you might even learn a thing or two. And we all know learning is cool (oh yeah). But if you are about to press the “Esc” button and go about your day, don’t despair. I’ll be dishing out some ranty blogs too about whatever is annoying me at that particular time. Lucky you 🙂

This should be fun even if no one reads it. I hope someone does though; it would be nice to know that the world is still willing to listen to other people’s opinions.
